Melvin's passion for business started when working at his father's company in middle school, and having many discussions on the difficulties, issues, and solutions that came with business ownership. Melvin obtained his bachelors in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and went on to work in the financial services industry for New York Life and Northwestern Mutual. All the while he never stopped learning. He has earned the following certifications: Certified Financial Planner, Certified Exit Planning Advisor, Certified Value Growth Advisor, Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and CMMI Associate. Melvin is most passionate about helping small businesses achieve the vision and dreams of their founders. This is the prime reason why he founded Fluid Strategy LLC. His mission is to help organizations realize their potential and lead them on the path to future growth and success.
