Stephen E. Capizzi, is Founder and Managing Principal of Apex Exit Advisors and the exclusive 2% Exit Club_. While he has worked with a variety of clients over the past 26 years in financial services, Steve specializes in providing comprehensive exit planning strategies for small to mid-size businesses and family-owned businesses. He has helped numerous entrepreneurs build value in their businesses, develop strategic exit and transition plans, execute the transfer selling process, and maximize proceeds post-sale. His banking, business, valuation and wealth advisory experience along with his educational backgrounds create a unique combination of skills that provides spot on perspective that business owners enjoy. Steve adds, My faith means a lot to me and is a guidepost both in my business and life. I believe in encouraging people to reach their potential, and enjoy being a team player in that process. My goal is to see every client become part of the 2% Exit Club. Steve's exit planning education and experience started in 1996 and over the years he has achieved the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor designation through the elite organization: The Alliance for Merger and Acquisition Advisors. Currently, he is licensed as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Practitioner (CFP) through the CFP Board of Standards and is also a member of the Exit Planning Institute, the premier international organization for education and resources for the exit planning professional. He holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation, which fewer than 800 advisors hold nationwide. Steve enjoys relationships with many professional organizations related to the financial services trade and has served in leadership roles such as President of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia. Currently, he serves as President of the Georgia Chapter of the Exit Planning Institute. These and other organizations have asked Steve to speak on the topic of Exit Planning for Business Owners. The Exit Planning Institute in 2017 awarded Steve, Member of The Year Award, for his leadership and professional achievements. He lives in Johns Creek, Georgia where he enjoys fitness, photography and loves to read and learn about the human mind. Steve loves all sports, especially baseball and attends Buckhead Church.
